Dr. Lisette Lors, Principal
Dr. Lisette L. Lors came from the NYC schools to Íæż½ã½ã in 2004 as a high school social studies teacher, a position she held for 14 years. While at BSHS, Dr. Lors developed a one-semester elective course titled Latin America and the Caribbean: A Historical Survey. She helped create and plan the high school’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration as well as  co-create and plan the high school’s Black History Month celebration, which included renowned keynote speakers and performing artists. Along with fellow social studies teachers, she implemented a Regents exam boot camp for students. She served as the principal of Eastern Suffolk BOCES’ regional summer school at Íæż½ã½ã High School in 2015 and 2016 and as the assistant principal in 2013 and 2014. 

Dr. Lors received a Proclamation from the Town of Islip in 2007. In 2014, the Town presented her with a Distinguished Service Award during Black History Month.

In 2018, Dr. Lors left BSHS and joined the administrative team at Huntington High School as an assistant principal for three years. During her tenure at HHS, she built the master schedule, reassembled the attendance committee, and established relationships with students and their families—making 256 home visits with members of the attendance team during the 2020-2021 school year.

Dr. Lors obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching Social Studies 7-12 at New York University in 2003. She earned a Master of Science degree in Foundations of Education at Hofstra University in 2005. She obtained her state administrative certification through the College of St. Rose in 2009 and a Doctorate of Education degree in Educational Administration and Instructional Leadership at St. John’s University in 2018.

Dr. Lisette L. Lors spends her free time raising her two daughters, aged 11 and 5.


Mr. Aaron Marsh, Assistant Principal
Mr. Aaron K Marsh is a graduate of Íæż½ã½ã High School, class of 2005. He began his career teaching middle and high school mathematics in Westchester County in 2009. In 2014, Mr. Marsh transitioned to teaching upper level and advanced placement math courses within the Plainview Old Bethpage Central School Íæż½ã½ã. In 2019, Mr. Marsh joined the Sewanhaka Central High School Íæż½ã½ã as New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s mathematics chairperson. In July of 2021, Mr. Marsh was appointed Assistant Principal of Íæż½ã½ã High School.

Mr. Marsh is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Cortland, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Adolescence Education. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Education from Touro College. Additionally, Mr. Marsh has received an Advanced Certificate in School Administration from St. Joseph’s College.

Mr. Marsh believes that every student can succeed. As a teacher his goal was to never leave a child behind and encourage everyone to soar. As a leader, his goal is to inspire, challenge, support and never stop learning and growing.


Mr. Brad Obloj, Assistant Principal
Mr. Brad Obloj began his career as an educator in Íæż½ã½ã 21 years ago.  During that time he taught 4th grade at South Country School as well as 6th grade at the Bay Shore Middle School.  He later served as the Dean of Students prior to being named an assistant principal.  Mr. Obloj earned his Bachelors of Economics from Hofstra University and later returned to earn his master's degree in Elementary Education.  During his time teaching, he went on to earn his School Íæż½ã½ã and School Building Leadership Diploma through Stony Brook University.  Mr. Obloj is a leader who strives to provide all Íæż½ã½ã students with a safe and comfortable learning environment to help them reach their potential.
