Dear Íæż½ã½ã School Íæż½ã½ã Families,
Welcome to the Íæż½ã½ã School Íæż½ã½ã Cultural Arts Department!
The arts, whether music, visual or performance, are highly valued in our schools and community. Students begin learning about music and visual art in kindergarten. By fourth grade, they have the opportunity to begin studying instruments and vocal performance. There are even greater options for artistic growth at the middle school and high school.
Our cultural arts education is second to none. Íæż½ã½ã has been named a Grammy Signature School multiple times and is consistently recognized as a Top 100 Communities for Music Education district. Students perform for NYSSMA judges annually and we routinely have musicians selected for SCMEA and LISFA groups. Additionally, we have had students perform with All-State Ensembles.
To complement our outstanding faculty, we regularly bring in guest speakers and artists to work with our students. Our performers and artists routinely participate in community events.
